*** My original intent is to create a scalp oil for my daughter and I. More for the scalp than it is for the hair, but it’s lightweight and absorbs into the skin quite nicely.
Backstory: A biopsy on my daughter’s scalp revealed a condition called lichen planopilaris (LPP). The root of the hair follicle becomes inflamed causing the hair to fall out in certain areas, which results in alopecia, if left untreated. She also has a mild form of eczema, with a periodic random patch on her body, every 4-6 months.
I want to use oils on her skin and scalp that have anti-inflammatory properties that will help in the prevention of hair loss and skin irritation. This combination of oils help. ***
